Environmental and Economic Aspects of Using Passout Steam Turbine as Utility System
Original language description
An optimization procedure of a combined heat and power utility system based on using steam from steam turbines as hot utility can contribute both to improved process economics and to emissions reduction. An optimization of steam turbine extractions is described in the paper and an application of the methodology is shown on case study.
