The transmission effectivity enhancement in access networks is connected with the contemporary trend of increasing the transmission speed and, in particular, with the quality of the networks themselves. The present period is characterized by rapid development of increase in data transmission, optical fibres, ISDN technology, etc. The research would also outline the suitability of applying the much-promising xDSL technology.
