    Some Aspects of Coulomb Friction Estimation using harmonic Balance Method

  • Original language description

    The article shows the influence of static load disturbance on Coulomb friction parameter estimate using harmonic balance method. It points out that this situation is analogous to the case when the Coulomb friction force depends on the direction of motion(i.e. friction is not symmetrical). It also demonstrates that the estimation algorithm gives correct results of Coulomb friction even if the model of friction contains non symmetrical viscous component.
