A System Architecture of Networked Pressure Sensors
Original language description
This contribution deals with the IEEE 1451 smart transducer interface architecture while focusing on connecting sensors to the Internet. The kernel of the paper aimes at the application of the 1451.1 architecture for a distributed pressure measurement system, stressing both the intra-system and Internet connectivity issues. The next sections discuss in more detail the IEEE 1451 smart transducer interface for sensors and actuators as an emerging, standard-based networking framework.
