Original language description
The fuzzy numbers seem to be a suitable form to involve an uncertainty in different types of fuzzy models. L-R fuzzy numbers are used in many engineering applications. The fuzziness and the ambiguity belong to the basic parameters of fuzzy numbers. New formulae for these parameters are proved in this paper. The new formulae are explained from the engineering point of view.
