Speech Detection in Noisy Speech Signal.

  • Original language description

In the following paragraphs the basic principles of cepstral speech/pause detectors are described. For individual detectors the methods are sought how to reduce the speech and pause detection in degraded speech signal. This wrong detection is brought about an abrupt change in the input signal. The individual speech/pause detectors are realised in the Matlab program environment and the optimum parameters (scale factors, filter order, etc.) are set for correct speech and pause detection with a relative loow signal-to-noise ratio of the input signal (<2dB).
