The characteristics of the multiport averaging probe with different types of the probe
Original language description
Multiport averaging probe is a special type of the Pitot tube that belongs to the differential producing flowmeters. The underlying principle for all differential producing flowmeters is Bernoulli s streamline energy equation. The changes of the body shape of the probe produce the modification of the basic probe parameters - the differential pressure, the pressure loss, the coefficient of the probe, etc. The simulation, theoretical and experimental results fot he four different body shapes are presentedd in the paper.
