Optical lenses suffer from many complaints what has adverse influence to final digital image taken from spatial scene. One of the most significant distortions is geometric distortion what has negative influence to image geometry. This paper reports on methods of image preprocessing before elimination of this distortion and brings informations about model of this distortion.
