Multiple Laser Spot Tracking with Position Sensitive Detectors
Result description
The paper deals with an application of Position Sensitive Detectors (PSD) to a system for tracking of multiple laser spots on a screen. In contrast to classical multi-element CCD devices PSDs are comprised of a monolithic detector with no discrete elements and provide continuous position data by making use of the surface resistance of the photodiode. Determination of basic characteristics is presented.
