Original language description
In this paper a comparative analysis of 802.11 network parameters with and without support of Quality of Service (QoS) is carried out by means of the OPNET software. The description of 802.11 standard networks and QoS is cited. The network operation is modeled in OPNET software, and the characteristics of network components are presented. Parameters of delay, data dropped, queue size and media access delay with and without QoS are collected and analyzed.
