Non-saturating models of PMSMs are unsuitable to testing algorithms for sensorless control. These models of PMSMs provide no information about polarity of the rotor magnet. Polarity is important to successful estimation of the initial position rotor. A 2nd order Taylor series can be used to describe the nonlinear magnetic saturation relationship between the current and the flux linkage.

Czech description
Modely synchronních motorů se zanedbanou saturací jsou nepostačující pro testování algoritmů bezsnímačového řízení. Ze saturace magnetizační charakteristiky jsme schopni určit polaritu permanentního magnetu, která je klíčová k odhadu počátečního natočenírotoru.
