    Detection of the dynamic rotor eccentricity based on the external magnetic field analysis

    The paper is focused on the analysis of the radial magnetic field of low power induction motors. The field is treated as a source of the diagnostic signal which is used in the suggested post processing technique. The basic principle of the solution is the analysis of the varying magnetic flux density in the air gap between the asymmetrical rotor and stator. The theoretical considerations deal with the derived expected Fourier spectra of the spatial tangential component of the external electromagnetic field. They are verified by a FEM model and measurement. The measurements were performed for several eccentric rotor levels on several machines.

    Článek pojednává o problematice určování dynamické excentricity rotoru pomocí analýzy vnějšího magnetického pole asynchronních motorů malého výkonu. Vliv excentricity na toto pole je analyzován ve frekvenční oblasti pomocí FEM modelu stroje a získané výsledky ověřeny měřením na několika asynchronních motorech s různou úrovní excentricity rotoru.
