    Manganise oxides MnOx are well studied catalysts material for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in an alkaline fuel cell cathode. MnOx compositions were obtained by reduction of KMnO4 on carbon black of great specific surface area. Into this mixture different dopants (Ni, Zn, Mg)has been added to increase activity of manganise-based catalyst. Similar problem was solved in previos paper [1-4]. The present study aims at evaluating the activity of such manganise oxide-based electrocatalysts toward the ORR. Presumed usage as negative electrode material for hydrogen evolution reaction with photovoltaic support system.

    Oxidy manganu MnOx jsou již dlouhou dobu známé pro svou katalytickou účinnost redukce kyslíku v alkalických palivových článcích. V této studii byly struktury MnOx získány redukcí KMnO4 na sazích s velkým specifickým povrchem. Ke zvýšení katalyzátoru bylydo této směsi přidány dopanty (Ni, Zn, Mg) a sledovány kinetické parametry. Podobný problém byl řešen v předchozích článcích [1-4]. Současné studie se zaměřují na zvýšení aktivity katalyzátorů na bázi oxidů manganu při redukci kyslíku.
