    The paper deals with the multi-physical analysis of the Gun diode. The electrostatic, drift-diffusion and thermal phenomena are considered in the physical model of the component. The basic equations are summarized, and modeling issues are discussed. Theanalysis was performed in COMSOL Multiphysics using finite element method.

    Článek se zabývá multi-fyzikální analýzou Gunnovy diody. Fyzikální model zohlednuje jevy elektrostatiky, proudění a difuze. Jsou shrnuty základní rovnice pro polovodiče a je diskutována problematika tvorby modelu. Simulace byly provedeny v programu COMSOL Multiphysic využívající metodu konečných prvků.
