    Partial Discharge Investigation

  • Original language description

The Partial Discharge (PD) is regarded as a parasitic effect occurring in insulating systems. In technology of high voltage devices such as planar transformers, optocouplers, IGBT, special bipolar transistors or the other high voltage parts on PCB's veryimportant to know if some dangerous discharges are presented system. Generally, it can be said the partial discharge threatens the systems working at more than 600V. This article describes the partial discharge investigation and processing. Whole systemdesign is optimized for using special micro sensors determinate for partial discharge measurement. Also in case of driving integrated circuits where the applied voltage is lower, but conducting routes are not a long distance apart the distance between conducting routes is rather short, risk of occurrence of partial discharge is relatively high. This work is focused on PC supported fast multi channel partial discharge measurement where can be used a special micro sensors. Deeply investig
