Hierarchical modulation in DVB-T/H mobile TV transmission over fading channels
Original language description
This paper deals with the utilization of a hierarchical modulation in the DVB-T/H standard and transmission of the digital terrestrial television over models used as fading channels for the fixed, portable and mobile reception. The laboratory transmission system for the digital TV broadcasting and used R&S test and measurement equipments are shortly presented including the experimental transmission setup. The results of experimental DVB-T/H broadcasting over fading channels without and with introduced Doppler shift are presented. The BER before and after Viterbi decoding and according MER equal to SNR ratio in the fading channels were compared in all transmission experiments.
