Comparison of non-blind and blind deconvolution by the richardson-lucy algorithm in MR perfusion
Original language description
This study compares blind and non-blind deconvolution techniques using the Richardson-Lucy algorithm for perfusion analysis of MRI contrast enhanced data. A simple simulation shows, that inaccuracies in the arterial input function due to use of the arterial input function measured in a feeding artery and not exactly in the region of interest (which is impossible) can cause significant errors in estimation of perfusion parameters, if a non-blind deconvolution technique is used.
