Virtual Automation Networks - Proxy Device (VAN-PD) enables seamless integration of the legacy automation devices to the VAN network. It represents an application-layer gateway with semantic translation of the communication data units between the Profinet CBA and SRTP technology of the MCM company. The proxy device was designed and implemented as a part of the Manufacturing Industrial Experimental Setup within the VAN project.
