The article deals with a comprehensive proposal for fault-tolerant systems safe. The first introduces readers to the concepts of safety and fault-tolerant system. Subsequently, it analyzes the current and earlier standards dealing with safety issues. Then the reader is familiar with the model and the concept of layers of safe protection layer. Individual safe protection layers are explained in detail. It also states in the context of fault-safe systems relevant to the concept of the safety integrity level and probability of failure.

Článek se zabývá komplexním návrhem zabezpečovacích systémů odolným proti poruchám. Prvně je čtenář seznámen se základními termíny týkající se bezpečnosti. Následně je provedena analýza současných i dřívějších norem, které se zabývají otázkami bezpečnosti v těchto systémech. Pak je čtenář obeznámen s modelem a koncepcí ochranných bezpečnostních vrstev. Jednotlivé individuální vrstvy jsou podrobně vysvětleny. Rovněž je uvedena koncepce úroveň bezpečnosti integrity a pravděpodobnost selhání, jež je aplikována na tyto navrhované systémy.
