Liquid/liquid Electrochemistry in Electroanalysis: Fundamentals Revisited

  • Original language description

The interface between two polarized liquids has applications in electroanalytical chemistry as a practical transducer arrangement. With the same importance, such an interface is studied with great interest by theoretical chemists and physicists to garnerinformation about the fine structure of such interface. In our work we touch both of these aspects. In order to correlate the x-ray experimental work we determined Gibbs energies of transport for one supporting electrolyte and present a systematic method for determination of such parameters.
