    Techniques of Time-Domain Analysis of Interconnects

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with the Matlab application used for time-domain analysis of interconnect. For transient effect analysis two elementary implicit methods are used (Finite-Difference Time-Domain method and Wendroff method). The methods are very effective and deliver satisfactory results in case of linear lines with live conductors. For simulation is used time and spatial discretization of Maxwells equations in differential form. Results are presented in form of voltage and current distribution along a multiconductor transmission line. Typical situations are solved as an illustration of these methods.
