The paper presents the results of NDT analyses of Si and CdTe monocrystals by non-linear electro-ultrasonic spectroscopy. The intermodulation voltage is linear function of applied AC electric excitation for constant ultrasonic one. Similar dependence wehave observed for constant amplitude of AC electrical signal for variable ultrasonic excitation. The main advantage of this method is based on the detection of electrical signal with frequency different from frequencies of excitation signals. We supposethat intermodulation signal is a result of ultrasonic phonons impact on electron mobility. Relative change of resistance is of the order 10-5 for ultrasonic excitation corresponding to the voltage 1V on ultrasonic transducer. Proposed method is characterized by low influence of ultrasonic wave reflection and interference on measured signal due to that the ultrasonic and electrical signals have different physical origin.
