Comparison of the piezoelectric charge constant d33 measured by the laser interferometer and determined by the frequency method of calculation
Original language description
This paper compares a practically verify the main methods used for measuring the piezoelectric charge constant d33. Piezoelectric charge constant is a characteristic material constant, which appears during a mechanic deformation of the sample. With thisconstant the strength applied to the sample can be transmitted in a desired direction to the generated electric charge. Most commonly used measuring methods are frequency method, laser interferometry method and quasi-static method. The measurements wereaimed to evaluate the advantages and the disadvantages of used methods.
