Original language description
The importance of reliable determination and setting of plasma jet parameters at the output of plasma generators increases altogether with the increasing application of thermal plasma in technology processes. Complicated methods especially based on analysis of plasma radiation can be used, but in many cases significantly simpler methods can be applied with accuracy sufficient for technical practice. The contribution describes several possibilities of determination of temperature and velocity profile ofplasma jet at the arc heater output.
