Analysis of Speech Signal Spoken in Stressful Situation
Original language description
This paper deals with the speech signal as a possible indicator of stress. In our experiments, the negative stress was investigated by analysis of glottal pulses waveform. The glottal pulses were obtained from speech signal by applying the Iterative Adaptive Inverse Filtering (IAIF) algorithm. Pulses from speech spoken in both states, under stress and without stress were calculated and then statistically compared. Experimental results show that an accuracy of 72% can be achieved in speaker-independent binomial stress detection.
