Relation of Wiener Filter and Spectral Subtraction with Thresholding Methods
Original language description
In the article, review of Wiener filtration, spectral subtraction and thresholding methods are presented. Relation between Wiener filter and spectral subtraction is mentioned and newly relation these two methods with thresholding methods is shown. In thepaper, a hard thresholding rule is formulated. It realizes magnitude spectral subtraction. In conclusion, the basic thresholding rules are tested for noise reduction efficiency and the measure of the degradation of input signal is monitored at the sametime.
