Analysis of DFE Equalizer Order for Filtered MultiTone Modulation
Original language description
In recent years, new modulation principles have been sought to offer an alternative to the still very often used Discrete MultiTone (DMT) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulations. One of them is Filtered MultiTone Modulation (FMT). In the article, the principles of this modulation, demodulation and channel equalization using Decision Feedback Equalizer (DFE) are described. Based on the exemplary systems simulations we realize an analysis of necessary filter order of individual DFE equalizer filters.
