Original language description
This paper deals with the influence of listener's position on accuracy of sound localization in 2D surround sound reproduction using Ambisonics. Different Ambisonic decoders and Vector Based Amplitude Panning (VBAP) method have been used, and three listener's positions were tested in each case (sweet spot, 0.25 m and 0.5 m away from the center). The results were analyzed for comparison of the localization accuracy of each case with the others.
