On Reconfigurability of Hybrid PLL Frequency Synthesis for Multi-Radio RF Front-Ends
Original language description
This paper describes simulations and validation measurements of a novel switching protocol that has been proposed for a hybrid phase locked loop (PLL) based frequency synthesizer for flexible cognitive multi-radio front-ends. Frequency plan covering themost diffused wireless communication standards in the band 800 MHz 6 GHz is introduced here along with a working example at a given frequency. Validation of stable-state performance is carried out with help of a multi-band PLL that provides both, fractional-N and integer-N modes of operation.
