Paper describes a possibility for estimation of the rotor position in low speed of interior permanent synchronous motor (IPMSM) with low change of stator inductance. Sensorless algorithm uses the information about rotor position is contained in the changes of stator inductance. This allows the algorithm to work in the whole range of synchronous motor speeds.
