DVB-T/H Digital Television Transmission and its Simulation over Ricean and Rayleigh Fading Channels
Original language description
This paper deals with the simulation of the transmission of the digital television signal according to the DVB-T/H standard over fading channels for the mobile reception. Application for this simulation was developed in MATLAB and enables a complete analysis of transmitted and received data. The simulation results of the broadcasting over Gaussian (AWGN), Ricean (RC 20 ANX B) and Rayleigh (RL 20 ANX B) channels are presented and discussed. The BER before and after Viterbi decoding and MER were comparedin all simulated transmission conditions. Finally, obtained results are evaluated and discussed.
