Digitally Adjustable Current Amplifier and its Application in Fully Differential Current-Mode Band-Pass Filter Design
Original language description
In this paper the application possibilities of the recently presented digitally adjustable current amplifier (DACA) are further analyzed. In cooperation with conventional unity-gain current followers two circuit solutions of current-mode band-pass filters are presented. Both structures enable to change the quality factor Q independently of the natural frequency w0 by means of the current gain of DACA, where the value of Q is directly or indirectly proportional to the current gain. Non-idealities of theactive elements are discussed and the simulation results of the proposed filters agreeing with the theory are also given.
