CFTA-Based Active-C Grounded Positive Inductance Simulator And Its Application
Original language description
In this paper, new realization of grounded positive inductance simulator using two current follower transconductance amplifiers (CFTAs) and a single grounded capacitor is presented. For a complete analysis of the proposed inductor simulator, the non-idealities of CFTAs are also studied. The simulated inductance value can be controlled electronically by adjusting the bias current of active elements used. The circuit performances are verified via SPICE simulations and they show good agreement to theoretical expectation. The usability of the proposed circuit has been verified by realizing a 4th-order high-pass filter with a Butterworth approximation.
