Reading Data from EMV Payment Cards

Original language description

This article aims at the communication with EMV payment cards using a standard desktop computer. Application intended for data reading is developed on .NET platform in C# language. It uses a standard PC/SC smartcard reader connected via USB port. Readingof basic data is described in the paper. The main application's task is to decode and store TLV (Tag, Length, Data) data received from the card. It was designed with the view of simple searching and browsing of structured data.
