    Sound Source Localization Using Time Delay Estimation

  • Original language description

    Time delay estimation is the most common method to localize the sound due to its simplicity and accuracy. Several algorithms have been created to estimate the time delay, for instance, cross correlation method (CC), phase transform (PHAT), and maximum likelihood estimator (ML). These methods differ in their accuracy and simplicity. This paper presents simulation for these three algorithms and comparison of their performance in real environment.
