Efficiency of Encoding Schemes in Mobile WiMAX
Original language description
Mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e) is a broadband wireless system based on scalable OFDMA. It is suitable for the last mile connection in areas where it is not possible to build wired infrastructure and provides a broadband connection for nomadic users. Its main advantage compared to Wi-Fi is the opportunity of a very powerful handling of radio resources in order to quality of radio-environment and number of active users. This article investigates different encoding schemes used in Mobile WiMAX and deals withefficiency evaluation of these schemes.
