Blood Pressure Determination Using Analysis of Biosignals
Original language description
The paper deals with an analysis of biosignals for the purpose of non-invasive blood pressure monitoring without the necessity of using a pneumatic cuff. The method of simultaneous recording of electrocardiogram (ECG) and photoplethysmogram (PPG) and evaluations of their mutual time shift, which corresponds to the pulse transit time (PTT), are described in the paper. Results of original and improved methods of blood pressure determination using calibration measurement and subsequent analysis of pulse transit time values are also presented.
