Current-Mode Quadrature Oscillator Employing ZC-CDU-Based All-Pass Filter
Original language description
The paper describes a current-mode quadrature oscillator design with its experimental verification via PSpice simulations. The oscillator employs two first-order all-pass filters in a feedback loop. Each all-pass filter employs only one resistor, one capacitor and one active element called ZC-CDU (Z-Copy Current Differencing Unit). The proposed quadrature oscillator enjoys an advantage in its simplicity, low THD, minimum number of passive and active components, and the use of a direct current feedback.
