In this paper are described properties of catalyst for fuel cells based on MnOx, which is intended for positive electrode of fuel cells. Mainly is described catalyst in powder form matters obtained by reduction reaction KMnO4 with carbon soot Chezacarb A. This catalyst have unstable properties. The stability of this catalyst is probably influenced by the water penetration into the structure of the catalyst and thereby leads to gradual destabilization. Properties determination of the catalyst was carriedout by the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance method.
