You can find in the field of electric drives some applications, which need to be synchronized with the phase of supply network by phase locked loop. The typical applications are in the controlled thyristor rectifiers, a. c. thyristor inverters and also in active rectifiers. In most of control applications is the phase locked loop realized like a specialized circuit. In this article is presented the realization of the phase locked loop directly in the control microprocessor of the three phase active rectifier by using of peripheries like A/D converter or timer
