    Optimum Filter Length in Linear Prediction of Musical Signals with Pop Music Content

  • Original language description

    In this paper, a method for finding an optimal filter length, shortly optimal order, of linear prediction model is proposed. This method is based on measuring prediction error energy in the analyzed signal and its finds the optimal order of whole analyzed musical signal, not only for one segment. In the last chapter, the proposed method is tested on real musical signals with pop music content with the aim to evaluate optimal order in these musical signals.
