Original language description
Principal of chemical sensors have been widely developed during last two decades. Technology advancing brought many materials and structures involved into transducer which is the most important part of chemical sensors. The chemical sensing based on these materials where chemical reaction is transformed to physical quantity is most widespread and it can be called the first generation of chemical tranducers. As the second generation the optical principles can be called.
