Earth Fault Analysis using Measured Data from Fault Experiments in Actual Distribution Network
Original language description
This paper presents the results of the wide fault records database analysis. The fault records have been measured during the many experiments that were performed in the period 2005-2011 in the actual distribution networks with resonant earthed neutral system. The purpose of these experiments was to provide a data either for verifying distribution network safety during the ground faults or for testing some methods of the ground fault localization or elimination. Due to this fact the measurements was performed during ground faults at various points in the network and for various operating conditions such as: the extent of the network, the off-resonant degree (undercompensation, overcompensation and full compensation), the fault resistance (arc ground fault include) and the network load. The detail analysis of collected measurement records had been completed and its results could be evaluated with respect to dimensioning of network components, ground fault protection setting and particula
