Performance of LTE advanced uplink in a Flat Rayleigh channel
Original language description
This paper describes the performance of LTE advanced uplink transmission in a flat Rayleigh channel. The uplink link is simulated using a modified version of the Vienna uplink level matlab code simulator. This modified version supports two transmission antennas instead of one. In addition, the demodulation reference signal is presented and employed to allow channel estimation. Then the structure of the LTE advanced system is described. Furthermore, we point out the generation of the demodulated reference signal. Finally, the paper provides simulation results using two distinct channel estimation methods to get BER and throughput curves for selected scenarios.
