AFFINE REGISTRATION OF NATIVE AND CONTRAST-ENHANCED CT BRAIN IMAGES
Original language description
Subtractive angiography is a very important method for medical investigation of brain and the other tissues. This method is based on subtraction of two images, where one is native and second is contrast-enhanced. The problem is that the both images are not acquired in the same time. Second image can be geometrically distored by patient movement, breathing and injection of contrast agent. In this case we have to perform image registration to get spatially coherent images. This work deals with such a problem using optimalization of affine registration by controlled random search algorithm.
