Movement correction in thoracic dynamic contrast CT data

  • Original language description

A registration method for movement correction in thoracic dynamic contrast imaging data is proposed in this paper. The method is based on a 4D (3D + time) free-form B-spline deformation model whit initial deformation field determined by the analysis of disparities based on a nonlinear matched filtering. The values of control points which defines local deformations are optimized by the Nelder-Mead method. The proposed algorithm is perfomed directly on the real patient dynamic contrast CT data.
