Alkaline Membranes Based on Poly(vinylalcohol) for PEM Fuel Cells

  • Original language description

Several samples of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) based anion exchange membranes were prepared by different ways. Membrane electrode assembly (MEA) structures with platinum electrodes were produced and their loading and power characteristics were measured. Thebest PVA membrane was also used for MEA structure with MnOx based positive electrode. The measured data were compared with a reference Nafion 115 membrane fuel cell.
