Statistical analysis of subjective tests results of the various 3D displays
Original language description
This article deals with the subjective evaluation of the 3D image's quality depending on the different viewing angles. Results of the subjective tests of three different 3D video-sequences and three 3D photographs made by 28 observers are shown. Subjective tests were realized on three types of 3D imaging systems: two types needing of glasses (active controlled fader glasses and passive polarized glasses) and one auto-stereoscopic display (glasses-free). The results demonstrate the expected constraints of the used imaging 3D systems. The article contains a description of the subjective tests procedure, their summary and evaluation of results. The results of the subjective tests are complemented as well by the results of the objective measurement of photometric and colorimetric parameters of all used 3D displays.
