The influence of used precursors on the properties of high-voltage cathode materials

  • Original language description

This article examines the influence of the precursor on the properties of high-voltage cathode material LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 based on material LiMn2O4. In the production of precursors have been used with varying particle size and subsequently have been created cathode material was studied influence on stability during cycling and load change. The materials produced were subjected to several additional analyzes to determine the impact of changes to the structure of precursors used cathode series. She analyzed the structure of the material deposited on Al foil using AFM and XPS analysis made and the materials were observed using SEM and analyzed using EDAX. The results show that the smaller the particle size of the precursor improves the properties of the initial cathode material on both the stability during cycling and in terms of maintaining a higher capacity and a higher potential at a higher load.
