This paper describes a method of analyzing the parame-ters of photovoltaic cells and modules. They are the most frequently used methods of detecting defects in solar cells. There are described the most common defects and their origin. Then is described aprototype of a particular equip-ment designed for long-term monitoring of the parameters of the PV panels.
